The Reports section in the Jobs Portal provides valuable insights into client activities, service delivery, and portal usage. These reports help service providers track client progress, monitor outcomes, and analyze platform engagement to enhance service effectiveness.
Reports also support System Service Managers (SSMs) in evaluating performance across the entire service delivery network, offering data-driven insights to inform decision-making and program improvements.
Reports are categorized into two main sections:
Service Delivery Reports
These reports focus on client activity, outcomes, and service distribution to support data-driven decision-making.
- Client Intake: Monitor client intake levels across different Client Streams and Target Populations.
- Client Outcomes: Track client milestones and outcomes achieved through service interventions.
- Client Service Map: Visualize client and service provider distribution by location for better geographic insights.
Portal Usage Reports
These reports provide analytics on how clients and staff interact with the portal, offering insights into platform engagement and performance.
- Clients: Review client engagement levels and activity within the portal.
- Portal: Analyze overall portal growth, including new account creation and user activity trends.
- Resumes: Access detailed analytics on resume activity and creation trends.
- Staff: Track staff activity, engagement, and interactions within the system.
- Top Viewed/Followed: Identify popular job posts, companies, and sectors based on user interactions.

Report Access Levels
Report data is scoped based on the user’s access level:
- Portal Staff with Service Provider Reports permissions: Can view data specific to their assigned Service Provider.
- Portal Staff with Group Reports permissions: Can access data across the entire service delivery network.
Understanding these access levels ensures users can interpret reports within the appropriate context for their role.
Using Reports
All reports in WE Data Tools share a consistent interface, making it easy to navigate and analyze data. Below are the key UI elements available in most reports:
Standard Reporting Features
Report Name & Description
Each report includes a title and a brief description outlining its purpose and the insights it provides.
Date Selection Options
Most reports allow you to filter data by a specific time range. Available date options include:
- Last 7 Days
- Last 28 Days
- Last 90 Days
- Last 12 Months
- Current Fiscal Period (default view)
- Custom Date Selection
Your selected date range is remembered for convenience.
- Map-based reports, such as the Client Service Map, do not include date controls.
Sharing Reports
The Share button allows you to copy the report URL to your clipboard, making it easy to share via email or through other messaging channels.
- The user receiving the link must have the appropriate reporting permissions to view the report.
Downloading Reports
Reports that do not contain personally identifiable information (PII) can be downloaded for offline analysis. If a report includes sensitive data, the Download option will not be available.

Client Intake Report
The Client Intake Report provides insights into total client intake, as well as intake levels across different client streams and specialized populations, helping service providers and system managers to evaluate client intake performance.
Report Data & Metrics
The report displays client intake data in a table format, with each cell showing:
- Actual Intake: The number of clients who have entered services.
- Target Intake: The expected number of clients for the reporting period.
- Percentage of Target Achieved: A calculated percentage indicating progress toward the target.

Client Outcomes Report
The Client Outcomes Report tracks client intake, employment outcomes, and non-employment outcomes, providing insights into client progress and service effectiveness.
Report Views & Filters
This report includes primary and secondary views, allowing data to be displayed by:
- Service Provider: View outcomes based on different service providers.
- Client Stream: Analyze client outcomes by service stream.
- Team Members: Track outcomes attributed to specific team members.
- Target Population: Break down data by specific client demographics.
Key Metrics & Data Categories
- Client Intake (CaMS): Displays the total number of clients recorded in CaMS.
- Employment Outcomes: Tracks client progress through key employment milestones.
- New Hire: Number of clients who have started a new job.
- 1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, 12 Months: Number of clients who have maintained employment at each post-employment milestone.
- Unique Clients: Total number of clients achieving any employment outcome.
- Non-Employment Outcomes: Displays the number of clients in alternative outcomes.
- Education: Clients who have transitioned into further education or training.
- No Employment: Clients not currently employed.
- Other: Clients with outcomes that do not fit the above categories.

Client Service Map
The Client Service Map provides a geographic view of client and service provider distribution, helping to visualize client distribution patterns and assess service coverage across different regions. It includes interactive controls and filtering options to refine the data displayed.
Map Controls & Filters
A filter panel can be expanded to refine the data shown on the map. Available options include:
- View Options
- Marker View: Displays individual client locations as map markers.
- Heat Map View: Visualizes client density using colour gradients.
- Filtering Options
- Client Stream: Filter by program or service stream.
- Postal Code: Focus on clients in a specific postal code area.
- Service Provider: (Available only to users with Group Reports permissions) Filter by service provider location.
- Demographics: Apply filters based on demographic characteristics.
Navigating the Map
- Zoom Controls: Use the + and − buttons to zoom in and out.
- Movement Controls: Click and drag to move the map left, right, up, or down.
Service Provider Map Markers
Locations of employment service providers are displayed on the map. Clicking a service provider marker reveals:
- Service provider name
- Address
- Number and percentage of clients within a 20-minute drive-time radius
