Introducing Training, a powerful new component of the Job Portal designed to support upskilling and career development for jobseekers and service providers. This dynamic database, featuring over 10,000 courses and counting, delivers personalized course recommendations tailored to the occupations jobseekers are interested in.

- Personalized Training Recommendations:
- Jobseekers receive tailored course suggestions based on the occupations they’re following.
- Caseworkers can recommend courses that align with their clients’ career goals.
- Course Tracking and Sharing:
- Jobseekers and caseworkers can monitor the status of recommended courses.
- Courses can be shared or saved for future reference.
- Advanced Search and Filters:
- Use filters or the keyword search to refine course options based on specific needs or preferences.
Where to Find It:
- For Jobseekers: Access the Training Board from the portal menu.
- For Caseworkers: View personalized course recommendations for clients via the new Training tab in the Client Profile.
Service Provider Portal
Assigning Tasks Across Service Providers
Users with Service Provider Group permissions can now assign tasks to other service providers.
Email Notifications for Phone and Email Changes
To improve communication and ensure consistency in contact information management, the following improvements have been made:
- Caseworker Notifications: Caseworkers will now receive email notifications whenever their clients update their email address or phone number in the portal.
- Email Address Harmonization: For clients linked to CaMS, the CaMS email address is now treated as the authoritative data point.
- Caseworkers will continue to see CaMS contact details in their views, while clients will see updated information in their My Profile.
Employment Outcomes Now Available in the EAP
A new “Employment Outcomes” section has been added to the Employment Action Plan (EAP) tab of the client profile, making employment outcome details easily accessible within the Job Portal.

New “Casual” Job Type
A new Job Type for Casual employment has been added, in addition to the existing Full Time and Part Time options.
New People Filters
Three new filtering options will be available on the People screen:
- Service Provider: For users with Service Provider Group permissions, a new “Service Providers” filter allows users to filter users based on the service provider they’re assigned to.
- Client Stream: New “Client Stream” filter in the Demographics section retrieves clients based on specific client streams.
- Portal Invite Status: New “Portal Invite Still Outstanding” checkbox in the Activity section finds clients with pending Job Portal invites.
Update to Referral Management
To improve tracking and visibility for referrals, the following enhancements have been made:
- New Client Intake: “Reasons for Referral” data will be saved as a Case Note with the Referral activity type.
- Client Profile / Overview: Updates to the “Reasons for Referral” field will create a new Case Note with the Referral activity type.
Other Minor Updates
- Number Formatting: Numbers with four or more digits now include commas (e.g., 1,000) for improved readability.
- Client Info Ribbon: Layout adjustments have been made to improve responsiveness on smaller screens.
