The People section allows you to view/manage client, referral, and staff profiles depending on your permissions.

View user profiles

1. Navigate to the People section from the portal menu.

2. Use the keyword search field to find someone by:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Preferred name
  • Email address
  • CaMS email address
  • EAP number

The keyword search field includes type ahead functionality. As you begin typing, matching results will appear in a dropdown list.

  • Select a name from the suggestions to open that profile directly.
  • Press Enter after typing a keyword to load the People screen with matching results.

3. Use filters to refine your results. Available filters include:

  • User Info
    • Type
    • Status
    • Referral Sources
    • Service Provider Assignment*
    • Staff Assignment*
  • Status
    • Archived
    • No CaMS Link
    • Transferred
    • Transfer Pending
  • Referral Sources
  • Service Provider Assignment*
  • Staff Assignment*
  • Demographics
    • Sex
    • Age
    • Identifies As
    • Education Level
  • Service Engagement
    • Stream
    • EAP Status
    • Employment Status
  • Location
    • Postal Code
    • City/Town
  • Access & Mobility

  • Boolean search: A toggle at the top of the filter panel lets you choose whether filters should use Match All (AND logic) or Match Any (OR logic), giving you more control over your results.

4. Select a client’s name to view their profile.

My clients only toggle

Quickly filter the People screen to show only clients assigned to you by using the My Clients Only toggle, located at the top of the table.

When this toggle is turned on:

  • The list updates to display only clients assigned to you.
  • This filter works alongside other filters you’ve applied, narrowing the results even further if needed.

Customize table columns

You can personalize the People screen to match your workflow using the Customize Columns dropdown.

To customize the table:

  1. Select Customize Columns near the top-right corner of the table.
  2. Use the checkboxes to choose which columns to display.
  3. Drag and drop items in the list to reorder the columns.
  4. Select Reset to Default to return to the standard column layout.

Your selections are saved automatically, so the table will appear the same way next time you visit the screen.
