LMI Report Update
The Job Search Report now includes the 2021 NOC version, which is the default setting.
Job Seeker Portal
My Jobs Feed Updates
- Search: Job seekers can now search their Jobs Feed by job title, keyword, or company name, enhancing the ability to find specific job postings quickly.
- Location Filter: Job Seekers now have the ability to filter their Jobs Feed by location for more relevant results. Additionally, their location preference will be remembered for future searches, providing a more personalized user experience.
Service Provider Portal
CaMS Data Caching
Browsing and viewing client profiles is now substantially faster. Previously these features were limited by the speed of the Ministry’s CaMS system, which has had some recent performance challenges. We overcame these limitations by implementing a secure local ‘cache’ or copy of client profiles which is updated daily during an overnight process. As a result, the CaMS data visible in the Service Provider Portal may not display the most current information, if changes were made earlier in the day. We’ve introduced the ability to quickly refresh Client profiles with the latest CaMS data on an individual Client basis in the Client Profile.
Please refer to WE Data Tools documentation for more information on CaMS Integration and Data Caching.
Case Note Updates
The following enhancements have been introduced:
- Print Support: Client case notes can now be downloaded or printed for easier record-keeping and sharing.
- Filters & Keyword Search: We’ve added support for keyword search and filtering by author and activity type.
- Column Sorting: Case notes can now be sorted by date, from chronological to reverse chronological order.
- Visibility of Note Details: Notes no longer need to be opened to view their details in their entirety; all contents are now visible for quick access.
Client Intake Updates
- Address Field: An address field is now available if a CaMS link has not been established, providing more flexibility in data entry.
- Access to Transportation: Transportation attributes can now be recorded and captured during the client intake process. These attributes can also be added or updated in the Client Profile / Overview tab.
- Service Needs: Service Needs now displays as a checkbox list instead of a select-to field, improving ease of use and visibility of these attributes during the intake process.
Login Update
A show/hide password toggle has been added to the portal login screen to improve the login experience for all users. This feature allows users to view their passwords as they type, reducing errors and improving accessibility, particularly on mobile devices where typing mistakes are more common.
For security purposes, the password is hidden by default.
People, Referral Date Column
A ‘Referral Date’ column has been added to the People screen, which can be sorted chronologically or reverse chronologically. This provides Service Providers with better visibility into the timing and prioritization of referrals.
NEW! Safety Flag
A new Safety Flag feature has been introduced in the Client Profile, allowing service providers to highlight and manage safety concerns effectively. This addition is crucial for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both clients and providers.
The Safety Flag message is only visible to service providers. Clients can see this message only if they are physically present with you while reviewing the portal. To protect potentially sensitive information, the message is discreetly accessible upon clicking, ensuring visibility only when necessary.
Please refer to WE Data Tools documentation for information about viewing and managing Safety Flags.
Task Management Updates
- Add Task: The Client field is no longer required when adding new tasks, allowing more flexibility in how this feature is used.
- New Filter: The task filters now include an option to ‘Show Tasks Without Clients,’ to provide caseworkers with an easy way of viewing tasks not related to specific clients.
Other Minor Updates
- Date of Birth Format: Date of birth information is now displayed in the format ’15-MAR-1997′. This change aligns with the CATS software and is intended to help reduce errors when validating birth dates.
- End User License Agreement (EULA): Users who have not accepted the EULA will now be required to review and accept it upon their next login, ensuring compliance with our terms of service.
- Dashboard Scorecards & Client Activity: The dashboard scorecards that report on “Clients with No Job Leads” and “Clients with No Resumes,” along with the Client Activity widget, now exclude clients with a status of “employed” to provide more accurate insights.
