Service Provider Data Extracts

  • Portal Staff who have the Reports permission
  • Administrators

Service Providers can download always-current CaMS-based data extracts—including Performance-Based Funding, Employment Action Plans, Employment-Related Financial Supports, and the User CaMS Staff Report—directly from the Jobs Portal. These self-serve CSV downloads replace static emailed reports and provide faster access to up-to-date data for reporting, monitoring, and program oversight.

How to Download a Data Extract

Data extracts reflect the selected fiscal year and time period.

To download a data extract:

  1. From the Data Extracts screen, select the desired Fiscal Year and Time Period.
  2. Select Apply to refresh the data.
  3. Select the Download button for the extract you wish to retrieve.
  4. Choose a location on your computer to save the file.
  5. Open the downloaded CSV file to view the data in Excel or another spreadsheet application.
  6. Repeat this process for each extract type you need.

Data Access and Permissions

Access to data extracts is determined by the reporting permissions assigned to each Portal Staff account.

  • Users with Service Provider Group Administration reporting permissions can access data across the entire service provider network.
  • Users with Service Provider Administration reporting permissions can access data for their assigned service provider.
  • Users without reporting permissions cannot view the Data Extracts screen or access reporting data.

Date Selection Options

Date range options include:

  • Fiscal Year to Date (default view): Displays data for the current fiscal year.
    • When data for multiple fiscal years is available, you can select which fiscal year to view.
  • Last 90 Days
  • Current Quarter
  • Previous Quarter
  • Custom Date Selection

Your selected date range is remembered for convenience.

Available Data Extracts

Each extract below provides CaMS-based data for the selected fiscal year and time period. Files are generated in CSV format and reflect system data at the time of download.

Performance-Based Funding (PBF)

View checkpoint outcomes, verified employment hours, and calculated Performance-Based Funding status.

The extract includes the following columns:

  • Service Delivery Site
  • EAP Number
  • Stream
  • Milestone Type
  • Status
  • Milestone Achieved
  • Fiscal Year and Quarter
  • Reviewer Name
  • Milestone Schedule Date
  • Milestone ID

Employee Action Plan (EAP)

View Employment Action Plan activity, and completion status.

The extract includes the following columns:

User CaMS Staff Report

Compare user staff assignments in the job portal to their CaMS caseworkers.

The extract includes the following columns:

  • User ID
  • Portal Link
  • Service Provider
  • Portal Staff
  • Portal Staff ID
  • CaMS Caseworker
  • CaMS Caseworker ID
  • If the download does not start, check your browser’s pop-up settings.

    If the file appears blank, confirm the selected fiscal year and time period contain data.
  • Data extracts may contain sensitive client information. Ensure files are stored and shared in accordance with your organization’s privacy policies.
