Coming September 9
Employer Management will be available beginning September 9, 2026. These help resources have been published in advance to support the upcoming launch.
Who can use this feature?
The Employer Profile provides a centralized view of an employer’s information, including locations, contacts, notes, linked Service Plan Cases, and Job Board Administration settings.
Open an employer profile
- From the Jobs Portal, select Employers.
- Use the Employer Directory to find the employer you want to review.
- Select the employer’s name to open its profile.
For information about finding employers, applying filters, or creating a new employer record, see Employer Directory.
Employer profile at a glance
Profile header
The profile header identifies the employer and displays key information that remains visible as you move between tabs.
Depending on the information available in the employer record, the header may include the primary or preferred contact name, phone number, and email address.
Profile tabs
Use the profile tabs to move between different types of employer information:
Portal staff with the Employers permission can see all tabs except Job Board Admin. The Job Board Admin tab is visible only to users with the Administrator or Job Board Administrator role.
Actions available
The following actions are available from the Actions menu regardless of which tab you are viewing within the Employer Profile.
Archive an employer
Archive an employer when the record should no longer appear with active employers but must be retained for reference.
- Open the employer’s profile.
- Go to the Actions menu and select Archive employer.
- Select Archive in the confirmation dialogue.
Archiving an employer does not delete the record. Archived employers can be found using the Include Archived filter in the Employer Directory.
Restore an archived employer
To return an archived employer to the active Employer Directory:
- Open the archived employer’s profile.
- Go to the Actions menu and select Unarchive employer.
- Select Unarchive in the confirmation dialogue.
The employer will become available in active employer searches again.
Add or edit a safety flag
Use a safety flag to communicate important safety information that staff should review before interacting with an employer.
- Open the employer’s profile.
- Go to the Actions menu and select Add safety flag / Edit safety flag.
- Enter or update the safety information.
- Select Save.
- Use clear, objective, and factual language.
- Include only information necessary to communicate the safety concern.
- Follow your organization’s privacy, documentation, and escalation policies.
- Update or remove the flag when the information is no longer current.
Link CaMS service plan cases
Use Link CaMS Cases to associate an employer with its service plan cases in CaMS. Once linked, service plan cases associated with the employer become visible in the Service Plan Cases tab.
- Open the employer’s profile.
- Go to the Actions menu and select Link CaMS Cases.
- Enter the Employer CaMS Reference Number and hit Enter/Return or click the search icon.
If you receive a “No matches found” error, double check that you’re using the correct CaMS Reference Number. - Select Link Account from the search results.
- Hit Proceed in the confirmation dialogue.
- Open the Service Plan Cases tab to review the linked cases.
When an employer is linked to its CaMS profile, associated service plan case data is refreshed automatically every 24 hours during the nightly synchronization process. To retrieve updates sooner, select Refresh from the Service Plan Cases tab.
For more information about viewing linked cases and refreshing case information, see [Service Plan Cases].
Unlink CaMS service plan cases
Remove the association between the employer and its CaMS profile when linked service plan cases should no longer be displayed.
- Open the employer’s profile.
- Go to the Actions menu and select Unlink CaMS Cases.
- Select Proceed in the confirmation dialogue.
